What Is a Strong Password Generator?

IzHost Password Generator is a free tool that creates random, strong passwords for your accounts, servers and applications that are virtually impossible to guess or crack with brute-force attacks. You can set the password length, choose which character types to use and the percentage of each type, and generate multiple passwords at once.

All passwords are generated entirely in your browser, with no data sent to any server, and the passwords you generate are never stored. Weak or reused passwords are the leading cause of account takeover attacks — using a unique, strong password for every account is the foundation of your security.

Features

Random & Strong Passwords

Generates cryptographically random, high-entropy passwords. A strength meter (weak/medium/strong/very strong) lets you instantly see how resilient your password is.

Character Type Control

Toggle digits (0-9), uppercase (A-Z), lowercase (a-z) and special characters (!@#) as you like. Create passwords that meet service policies (e.g. "at least one digit and special character").

Advanced Percentage Weighting

Define what percentage of the password each character type should cover (e.g. 60% digits, 10% uppercase). The total never exceeds 100%; excess ratios are scaled automatically and disabled types are ignored.

Bulk Generation & Safe Copy

Generate multiple passwords at once and copy them all or one by one with a single click. Ideal when bulk-creating team accounts or when you need many strong passwords.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many characters should a strong password be?
At least 12 characters is recommended today; 16 or more is ideal for critical accounts. Length is the single most important factor in password strength. Mixing digits, upper/lowercase letters and special characters improves it further.
Are the passwords I generate stored anywhere?
No. All passwords are generated entirely in your browser (client-side), are never sent to any server, and are not saved. When you close the page, the passwords are gone completely.
What is percentage weighting for?
It lets you precisely control your password's composition. For example, some systems reject too many special characters; with weighting you can balance things like "mostly digits, few special characters". The ratios always total at most 100%.
Can I use the same password on multiple accounts?
Strongly discouraged. A breach at one service puts every account sharing that password at risk. Generate a unique password for each account and store them in a password manager.
Is this tool free?
Yes, the Password Generator is completely free and can be used without limits. No sign-up or login required.
How do I keep generated passwords safe?
Instead of memorising strong passwords, store them in a trusted password manager and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) wherever possible. Never keep passwords in plain text in email or note apps.
